inq-has-launched-two-new-handsets-the-e28098mini-3ge28099-and-e28098chat-3ge28099INQ launched new handsets the ‘Mini 3G’ and ‘Chat 3G’ promise to bring “mobile Internet to the mass market.” Like the INQ1, the Mini 3G and Chat 3G will run a custom Brew operating system which allows for extensive multitasking with background applications and an always connected approach for social networking sites, browsing and email. The original INQ1 has won several awards for bringing internet applications to the mass mobile market since its release last year, but the new devices go further: allowing users to upload music and videos direct from iTunes.

Both the ‘Mini 3G’ and ‘Chat 3G’ include a native Twitter application that INQ developed with Twitter. You also get one-click apps for Facebook, Skype, IM, not to mention push Gmail. Of course, they both sync music and videos from your PC or Mac. The sync’s software powered by doubleTwist synchronizes music from iTunes and WMP straight to your INQ mobile and, unlike most other sync solutions, doesn’t require the customer to give up using their favourite media player on their computer. The new mobiles from INQ will also be able to sync video and photos.

Without carrier subsidies, INQ said the Mini would cost less than $150 while Chat would cost less than $200.
