LG Cookie (which comes with different names and slightly different designs – KP500, KP501 for Orange, KP502 for Vodafone, LG Cooky for South Korea) is LG’s fifth phone that reaches the 10 million units sold milestone, after the LG Chocolate, LG Shine, LG KP100 and LG KG270 has reached sales of 5 million units, LG has now announced that it sold more than 10 million Cookies worldwide.

LG Cookie’s performance comes one month after Samsung announced it sold 10 million Star S5230 handsets (like the Cookie, the Star is an affordable touchscreen phone with rather basic features)
Launched in October 2008, LG Cookie features a 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display, Flash UI, Bluetooth, Music player, stereo FM radio with RDS, document viewer, 3.2MP camera and MicroSD card support.
Europe is the market where most of the Cookie phones were sold (5.4 million units), followed by Latin America (2 million), Asia (1 million) and South Korea (800,000 units).
