myCopernic on the Go!

mycopernic myCopernic on the Go! myCopernic on the Go! offers the end-user an intelligent solution to search and access relevant information from virtually anywhere, using any internet enabled device. With the power of a desktop search tool installed on the client’s PC, users can quickly find, preview and download the desired file, email, attachment, calendar item, picture, etc. myCopernic on the Go! uses the desktop search tools’ index in order to provide the quickest path to the right document with a fast search feature. myCopernic on the Go! is designed to work with Windows Desktop Search and is optimized for Copernic Desktop Search.

With myCopernic on the Go!, your data stays where it should: on your computer. No need to upload to a third party server to get access. This stops your stuff from becoming fragmented and falling into another entity’s service or site.

The Company has kept data security in mind during the development process of myCopernic on the Go!. Every communication between the client PC and the remote device are encrypted and no data is ever copied to a server.

Access can only be achieved if the myCopernic connector, a small software application installed on the client computer, is enabled with the user credentials and by logging in to the secure Web portal.

“With the release of myCopernic on the Go!, we can free people from their desktop PC by allowing them to search and access content stored on a remote computer from anywhere.” said Dennis Dion, Vice President Sales & Marketing. “Professionals that are often away from their office will find this tool very handy as they will be able to concentrate on their clients without having to worry about copying data from their PC to another device. Everything can be easily found and accessed remotely from a laptop, PC, iPhone, Blackberry or any other mobile device equipped with Internet access.”

myCopernic on the Go! is available now on the Company’s website and is based on a very low yearly subscription. Currently in English only, a French version is planned to be made available in the upcoming months.
